    Following my brother on to the bus.

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     oklanrs shot this photo of her 4-year-old son Brogan following his big brother Dylan onto the bus for his first day of pre-k. " Dylan is a 6th grader so they ride the bus together. Brogan was very excited to go to school. When he saw the bus pull up, he looked up at me with really big nervous eyes," she says. "As he was climbing on that bus, it hit me. He was not my baby anymore. It went by so fast those first four years."

    Brogan,4, stepped on the school bus for the first time. I watch sadly from the curb as his little back pack disappeared. I realized that he is officially no longer my baby. He is well on his path into childhood. I tried to be excited but it was so hard to watch him go.
