    Blue Moon over Peach Lake

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     RSO34 says he was inspired to capture this photograph because 'it was a once in a blue moon opportunity.' He photographed the blue moon, which is a second full moon within a month, on August 31 in North Salem, New York. He says the blue moon had an added significance because it coincided with Neil Armstrong's memorial service. 'Standing lakeside shooting the moon and remembering back to the TV coverage, it is still awe-inspiring to know that we had an American astronaut actually land and walk on the moon,' he said.
