Man on Bike Wearing a Bra Closes in on the Finish Line
Dusty Showers left Tampa, FL on July 28 riding his bicycle and wearing a pink bra. Today, September 1st at 3pm he will cross the finish line at the Hooters in Santa Monica, CA.
Dusty who is not a cyclist chose to ride cross country to raise money for his newly formed charity, The 2nd Basemen. The charity provides funds to families affected by breast cancer.
Dusty's frustration at the volume of requests and the lack of funds is what motivated him to take this incredible journey.
He has ridden daily in the heat of summer because he wants to support as many women, men and families affected by breast cancer as possible.
