    Blue Moon

    This past Friday, Aug. 31, if you’re a believer that good luck comes your way only once in a blue moon, this might just be the day you’ve been waiting for,the fact is for the first time since March 2010, we’ll gaze upon a blue moon again thi Friday, illustrating just how long that fabled stretch of time really is: almost 30 months.
    The next blue moon occurs on July 31, 2015, we will get two blue moons in 2018 when they fall within January and March.
    The term "blue moon" comes from folklore and different traditions and conventions place the extra "blue" full moon at different times in the year...altough the moon is never really blue.
