The 'Blue Moon' Over The Atlantic Ocean

The scene was truly eerie as the 2012 "Blue Moon" was breaking through the dense fog over the dark surface of the Atlantic Ocean. The ship horn was howling with a deep moaning sound  into the pitch black night as it would cry out for lost souls. It was a strange feeling because the ship just passed  the last resting place of the Titanic a day before. But suddenly just for short moments the bright Moon with a vibrant intensity appeared between the shredded white curtains of the fog as it would play hide and seek. It was a beautiful sight, almost surreal as  the sudden brilliant  light of the Moon lit up the gentle deep dark blue waves and even created its very own rainbow. I felt this surprise appearance of the Moon was like a tribute to Neil Armstrong. I will never forget that long gone hot summer day as he stepped down to the surface of the Moon and fulfilled one of the greatest dreams of mankind. I lived in a foreign occupied country and as we gathered a front of a tiny TV to see this historic event. That time I saw also the very first time the American Flag and from  this moment on I began to dream about Freedom itself.

Unfortunately I have just my iPad with me while I am traveling and I cannot upload any photos another way as with the iMovie app. Just for the records I only used 10 pictures as I would do when I could upload them normally. We have very slow wi fi on the ship, so it is very hard to upload the iMovie as well, But I  just would like to share these awesome sights of the "Blue Moon" from the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Thank You; PuakeaJutka
