    Fire destroys Sondela Nature Estate

    More then 450 people got caught in a run away veld fire in the Sondela Nature Estate.All the medical and rescue teams were dispatched by the Helivac Medical Call centre, the medical and rescue teams were busy for over 5 hours treating patients and trying to get the fire under control. 5 patients were transported to hospital for burns and close to 100patients were treated for smoke inhalation . Sadly two elderly people died in their chalet.
