Man Struck by Subway Train in Times Square
A man fell from a subway platform in Times Square mid-day today. Michael Bloss, a tourist visiting from Germany witnessed the event.
"A man fell about 5 meters in front of an on-coming train. Some people tried to help him but they couldn't reach him in time. He rolled toward the side of the rail, but was struck before he could get to safety."
The man was reported to be a middle-aged Caucasian. He was conscious when EMT's reached him, and brought him to a waiting ambulance. His condition is unknown.
