    Tracking TD ISAAC 01Sept2012

Followed progress and weather alerts of Tropical Depression ISAAC on 01Sept2012.

My interest was drawn to the weather on 01 Sept 2012 when news of Tropical Depression ISAAC was passing through the middle of the United States.

I was amazed at how wide spread this weather pattern had become, and started taking screen captures of its progress.

Using Intellicast's interactive map feature with overlays set as "Storm Tracking", "Alerts/ Severe", and "Temperature" I was able to view the full range alerts along the storms path.

By selecting the colored alert boxes on the interactive map, you can see what is happening. For example a Dark Red alert box maybe a Warning of Tornado being sited, Lighter Red Tornado or Storm Watch alert, etc.

I find this as a valuable tool for being aware of weather conditions as they are developing.

The Alert feeds come from the National Weather Service and are very reliable.

Hopefully no-one was injured in the areas of Tornado or Severe Thunderstorm activity. If possible someone may have captured some video footage of events happening on the ground, in these areas.
