'Voter ID Fraud'- Did You Build That, GOP?
We can see from the voter ID laws that Republican controlled state legislatures implemented immediately after they were elected on a jobs platform in 2010 , that the GOP must have misunderstood what voters wanted built.
Or were these 'laws' enacted in preparation for the Presidential elections?
But the GOP did get busy building something.
Where there was no fraud, they built it.
Where people could once vote unencumbered and early but 'not often' as the GOP claimed, they tore that down and erected their own monument to their ideal voter system- a system where Republican voters could vote but not minorities or seniors that might not vote Republican.
Thankfully, we have a Department of Justice that investigated and Federal Judges that blocked the GOP's new construction of these bogus 'laws' because they were not built to serve all the people, including those that think differently than the GOP.
We also have the American Civil Liberties Union that defends the rights we have guaranteed in our Constitution.
Yes, that piece of paper that actually means something to one party while the other party only pays it lip service to get votes from those that still believe the GOP represent truth and justice for American voters.
The Constitution also says that Congress will make no law that would restrict freedom of religion by endorsing one religion over another.
Republicans should study those words carefully.
Ideology and the worship of money has become a religion for the GOP.
Voter's rights are guaranteed regardless of your political affiliation.
These Constitutional rights are for all people not just those that will vote for Republicans or can afford the 'proper' ID.
What's the matter GOP?
Are you afraid the seniors won't vote to abolish Medicare for their children and make it into a voucher system?
And the middle class? Have you built that?
Yes, Voter Fraud and deceit- we see the GOP can build that.
But can you build what matters to the middle class?
No. You haven't built that.
Republicans have created a solution while looking for a non-existant problem of voter fraud.
These Republicans are a problem for which we need a solution.
