    Fireball war in El Salvador

The annual fireball fest in Nejapa, El Salvador is an extreme place to be. People from all over the word gather in Nejapa every august 31st to witness this fireball war. The fireball fest is held in honor to the eruption of the nearest volcano 400 years ago. Two teams of locals are formed and battle each other with handmade kerosene-wipe balls. This battle is dangerous and letal but every volunteer is proud to be there and fight until the last fireball goes out. There is no winner, the only winners are the nejapa people that proudly celebrates this fest every year as part of their idiosyncrasy.
