    Gettin Ready for the DNC~Photo Diary

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Your Political Ticket iReport contest winner MelissaF will be attending the DNC.

    Well a girl has got to do what a girl has to do. I documented some of the beautifying I had to do to get ready for the Democratic National Convention.

     

    First, I had to get that gray right out of my hair. Went to my local salon, Jancolby's where my stylist Linda Lim loved getting my hair ready for the convention.

     

    Second, of course I needed a cool new blue outfit to wear and went to my favorite store Macy's. I can't wait for everyone to see me in this outfit. I'm gonna rock it at the convention.

     

    Third, well of course I had to bedazzle my nails Obama style. I came up with a similar design when I went to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for John Kerry. Check out the great work that Natalie did from my local nail salon that I have patron for the last 15 years.

     

    I flew to Richmond, Virginia to pick up my sister Jaime Mennechey on Sunday. Time to get her ready. More photos coming soon of my sis and I.
