    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ChrisMorrow captured these photos and videos of the U.S. Open Sand Castle Competition in San Diego, California, over the Labor Day weekend. "It was a joy to watch," she says.

    Ten master sculptors had 3 1/2 days to make a masterpiece in downtown San Diego. Check out my videos and photos.

    Rusty Croft of Carmel, CA won for his "Home Is Where the Heart Is," a sculpture of a giant heart with rooms in each chamber. I.B. Posse won the People's Choice award for the Aztec inspired creation.
