    Why Charlotte?

    Why would the Democrats pick Charlotte, aka The Queen City, as the city to host their convention? Charlotte was named after Queen Charlotte, wife of King George III in 1779. Charlotte is also known as the heart of Nascar and is in a right to work state with a strong distaste for gay marriage. The second photo tells us why they wanted Charlotte.
