    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mckaylaleigh shot this sweet photo of her 6-year-old Nicholas posing with his dad. "It is a photo that touches my heart because it was a big day in my son's life and my husband got to be here to share it with him," she says. "Nicholas was excited and anxious to get to school and be in first grade."

    Nicholas is happy to have his Daddy home for his first day of 1st grade as he was deployed for his first day of Kindergarten.
