    This was the second year I attended Dragon Con. I think it is so cool that our city hosts so many unique events over Labor Day weekend ... Nascar, college football, black gay pride and Dragon Con to name a few. But at the core, it's really just a collection of people who are passionate about their hobby or interest.

    I enjoy attending because I feel like I'm walking through a Hollywood sic-fi movie set. I really appreciate the time, effort and creativity that parade participants put into their costumes.

    The coolest part about Dragon Con to me is seeing the super scary monsters high five and fist bump the crowd as they move down the street ... they really make a connection with the crowd, which makes it memorable for everyone.
