Celebrity interviewer & CNN iReporter "ALADINO" attended an elite guest circle from around the world, family and friends gathered to celebrate the essence of Celebrity International Speaker and Coach Karen Hoyos' 33 years of life by indulging in a mystical Bollywood journey.
Guests were transported to the sultry world of sweet and spice; guests partied into the starry night with the birthday girl Bollywood style...because in Bollywood, every word is a song and every step is a dance!
A selected group of media was covering the red carpet of Karen Hoyos' Bollywood Birthday Fiesta!
Celebrity chef Jennifer Herrera provided and showcase her catering services to dear friend and coach Karen Hoyos. Jennifer created a vegan Bollywood themed menu for the gala event. Delectable gourmet morsels of vegan mini sliders with punjabi aioli, samosa with tamarind chutney, Mumbai figs, "paneer" and pistachios, and a mango tangerine "lassi" were just a few of the Bollywood inspirations that were served at the lavish party.
Delicious non-alcoholic cocktails were sponsored by Tantra Lounge, an organic boutique lounge in Astoria, New York.
Karen Hoyos supports the Cacaya Foundation, a non-profit organization which endorses art created by artists who are blind. The event showcase a beautiful art display and a live painting demonstration manifested by the hands and soul of Elvis de Jesús who is visually impaired. Guests received a VIP gift bag.
