    Pine Creek Fire

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Montana resident AudreyHall shot this series of photos of the Pine Creek fire from August 29 and August 30. "The plumes were crazy. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Thankfully we never had to evacuate, but all of our neighbors across East River Road did," she says. "Today (September 5) is the first day that things seem to be a bit less perilous. There is still smoke, but the fire seems more contained."
