Clinton Teaches Arithmetic At The DNC Tonight!
Its All In The Math!
And President Clinton delivered tonight with one of the best convention speeches ever seen on live television. "The Arithmetic Doesn't Add Up" he said, and this will become a classic election year quote to be sure!
"It's Arithmetic" Bill Clinton said tonight before a packed house at the DNC's Convention Day 2. "We can't afford to Double Down on Tricke Down!" Mr Clinton remarked as the crowd roared.
"My Fellow Americans"..."Vote for Obama /Biden for a more perfect Union" Clint said, as Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" and Tom Petty's "Don't Back Down" followed for the musical epilog.
Clinton argued that many of the serious problems ailing the economy were “inherited” from the Republicans and that, despite the slow recovery, Obama needs four more years to finish the job.
“The most important question is, what kind of country do you want to live in?” Clinton said. “If you want a you're-on-your-own, winner-take-all society, you should support the Republican ticket. If you want a country of shared prosperity and shared responsibility — a were-all-in-this-together society — you should vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden.”
Roberta and I could not agree more. Do we want to go back to the politics of the rich? Do Americans want the gains that were just made in heathcare wiped away? Can we save Social Security and Medicare? The Middle Class must survive!
Bill Clinton already saved the Democratic Party once. Perhaps tonight he did it again!
Obama to save our economy - and the Middle Class - in 2012!
