ARIZONA SENIOR CENTER RECEIVES GRANT FROM CAREMORE HEALTH PLAN

GLENDALE, Arizona – CareMore presented $5,000 to YWCA senior centers to support their hot meal program. The check presentation took place at the YWCA senior center on Wednesday, August 22 at 11 a.m., 8561 North 61st Avenue.
Seniors and disabled adults benefit daily from the hot meals, social activities, companionship, and transportation provided by the four West Valley YWCA Senior Centers. The mission is to provide nutrition, socialization and support services to older adults, particularly those at-risk, which will enable them to maintain a maximum level of independent living with dignity.
"The support from CareMore helps the YWCA nurture our older generation whose value and wisdom are immeasurable," said Dana Campbell Saylor, Chief Executive Officer.
The CareMore Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been formed to support and strengthen local communities by bringing volunteers, finances and recognition to non-profit organizations who serve seniors. For more information, please visit CareMorefoundation.com.
