Today, Amazon just announced a new lineup of tablets to compete with Apple, Google, Microsoft, and others. I've been reading reviews and checking pricing the past few days to help me with this decision. I've never owned an Apple product and Android OS seems rather slow to me. I am much more comfortable with Windows, but Windows 8 is getting some bad reviews for desktops/laptops. However, I think the reviews for touch tablets has been positive. Thus, I'm currently considering a Microsoft Surface tablet with the keyboard connection that seems handy. The deciding factor will be storage. I've got over 40GB of music and I don't want to use a cloud to listen to it. Besides, I don't have wi-fi in the car. I would like at least 64GB of storage, DVR capability from my TV, and color HD touchscreen. Also, the Surface is being rumored to cost only $199.
