Sister Simone Campbell Sounds off on President Obama and Abortion

How do pro-life Catholics justify their support of Obama? Sister Simone Campbell says she feels comfortable with President Obama's approach on the issue, citing the fact that he has worked to ensure that there's no federal funding for abortion in his health care law — which two federal courts have affirmed. Though she may disagree with a woman's choice to have an abortion, Campbell also adds that Obama has made sure that women can make their own decision on the matter. "People need to know the facts," she said. "There's a lot of fear out there."
