Hurricane Isaac, Destruction of a Way of Life

Braithwaite a small town in rural La was destroyed by Hurricane Isaac on August 29, 2012. This area is outside of federal levee protection. Much of this area did not flood for Katrina. What will happen now to this little town, my home town that I left many years ago? Did the new federal levees that stopped just before Bratihwaite cause this massive flooding? This destruction didn't just destroy homes, furnishings, belongings....it destroyed a way of life, a livelihood, a homestead. Where do the 2500 people in this town now go? Will the government provide the appropriate support? Where is the media to tell this story? What would the Corps of Engineers person who said 3 years ago that this area would not flood as a result of the federal levee say now? What will the Corps of Engineers investigation show and are they the appropriate ones to be investigating what they did? So many questions....
