Election 2012: Your stories |
4 More Years! ... On To November Victory!
The Democrats sure know how to mount a convention... and what a convention it was! Inspirational! Electrifying! Riveting! Energetic! Informational and patriotic! So many of the speakers rose to the occasion, by delivering some of the most compelling, and motivational speeches I have ever heard. There is no doubt that the Democrats had a phenomenal Convention. The President reached out to the American people and asked them to give him another four years.
One of the highlights of the evening was the tribute to the Veterans… tremendous; it brought tears to my eyes. President Obama stepped up to the plate to accept the nomination with pride and humbleness, and proceeded to explain his plan for a better future for the country and for the people. The president said it won't be easy, but we are on the right path.
In November, voters will be confronted with the Romney/Ryan ticket, two proven liars, flip-floppers, story tellers, and to make it even worse, Romney continues to refuse to release his tax returns... what is it that this man is hiding? Also what about the information on his off-shore accounts? What is he hiding? It gives voters something to think about. The fact is that the Republican Party is a victim of a "takeover" by maniacs, over-the-top fanatics that think they going to send the country back to the 1950's with ignorant, mean policies against women, workers, against seniors, students and children.
When the obstructionist Republicans in Congress point the finger at Obama for poor job creation, they should look for the nearest mirror, and look into it and blame themselves. The Republicans' contingency in Congress engaged in obstructing the President in an effort to make him fail. They had a plan to carry this treasonous plan out, and did not care who knew they were going to do it, heck, they even publicized it... defeat Obama at any cost, even if it hurts the country.
The voter's job is not only to reelect President Obama, but to make sure that they also vote the obstructionist creeps in the Republican Congress out. It is obvious they do not care about the welfare of the country or the well-being of the people. Once Republicans have the "power" they do not care who or what they run all over, as long as they satisfy their big rich fat dogs that are throwing millions at them to buy the Presidency and Congress. The facts are right in front of the voters, look at the record of what the Republicans left, and despite their efforts to shut down Obama, amazingly, the President was able to accomplish so much. If Republicans were doing the job they were elected to do, imagine how much more success in job creation the country would have experienced. Republicans had one thing on the agenda... defeat Obama, not do what is best for the country. In my book that makes them traitors and conspirators... basically criminals; and if I could I would have them all arrested for treason and put them in prison for a long time.
As far as women are concerned, they better wake the hell up! The Republican Party has been taken over by a pack of over-the-top hard, so-called conservatives and the religious right, bent on shoving their "insane" believes on the rest of the country. What is a fact, and very clearly indisputable, is that Republicans put America in a big, deep economic hole. Instead of working with the President to dig us out of the hole, and clean up their mess, they orchestrated a sick plan to obstruct Obama in an effort to see him fail. I do not see any reason whatsoever why voters would want to reelect any of the obstructionists and Blue Dogs back to Congress after what they have done to the country and its people by showing their true colors?
It is imperative that voters think long and hard before casting that vote for Republicans... after Republicans had eight years of control under Bush and his henchmen to devastate the US economy, now they expect Obama to fix their horrendous mess in four years? And instead of working on helping the president put the country back in order, Republicans had the nerve to blame the President for not cleaning up their mess fast enough... Send them all packing! Republicans should learn that the American people are not going to be treated like a bunch of morons they can call to get votes, but once they scam to get in to the White House with false promises they forget about promises made.
President Obama deserves an opportunity to finish cleaning up the mess left by irresponsible hateful, shameless money and power hungry corrupted Republicans in Congress, and an opportunity to secure a better tomorrow for seniors, women, children and students. The country cannot afford not even one more day of Republican control... they are dangerous and bad for the country. The President deserves a second term.
