    Brazil, 7th September.

Today, in Brazil, we celebrate the 7th September. The Independence Day (also called Independence Day of Brazil or September Seven) is a Brazilian national holiday celebrated on the 7th of September each year. The date commemorates the Declaration of Independence of Brazil for the Portuguese Empire on September 7, 1822.
The Independence Day is marked by patriotic parades in most cities. The most famous of these occurs in Brasilia, the Esplanade of the Ministries, in the presence of the President of the Republic. About 30,000 people attend the event, which costs about a million dollars. Similar parades occur in all state capitals, in the presence of their governors, and in several cities across the country.
