    Beware of Wave!

    I shot this photo while walking to the mouth of Fox Glacier on the west coast of New Zealand's South Island. In the event of a large piece of ice breaking off from the glacier, hikers are advised to be vigilant of any large waves that may be produced from the ice fall. The hike along the glacial valley is gorgeous and the glacier itself is magnificent.
