This iReport is part of an assignment:
Economy: Are you better off? |
Economy am I better off.
Yes I am. My son found a job in his field he took in college. He worked odd jobs and paid his bills but sometimes would fall short paying his car insurance and car note and need help. So now he happily goes to work and I worry less about his future. And he's fully insured now even has dental insurance. I once had to put 500.00 on my credit card because he had a really bad toothache and was going to work like that. Had to do that because my other needed braces. I also no longer have the worry about being told no by my insurance company because of my pre existing condition. Healthcare reform still has a way to go and can be improved because the bill was watered down but can be fixed. One thing that is bad is that the insurance companies are still taking advantage raising rates on mortgages and car insurance. So for the middle class it's always get ahead get pushed back.
CNN app will not allow me to pick an assignment. Thanks
