    Severe Weather in Queens, NY

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Sunsetlady says the weather on September 8 in Woodside, Queens in New York, was humid. But in the evening the weather changed drastically with the clouds darkening. 'I thought there was a thunderstorm coming,' she said. She says the area was hit with heavy rainfall. 'It was pretty scary because of the sudden change of weather,' she said.

    I took these shots from the third floor of my relative’s apartment around 6 PM today, as I noticed the sky has suddenly darkened with subsequent heavy rains.
