    Dragon*Con: Even More Costumes

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     michelleasci attended the fantasy and science fiction convention, Dragon*Con, which is held annually in Atlanta, Georgia. While attending the convention she had the chance to photograph people who were dressed as pop culture icons and characters from popular science fiction television shows. 'The most original costume I saw this year and probably my favorite was the Totoro costume,' she said. She says the best highlight for her this year was attending "Venture Brothers" panel, where they created a 70's inspired talk show.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

A few of these costumes were featured in the Masquerade Costume Contest held Sunday night at Dragon*Con. Some of the highlights include a large scale My Neighbor Totoro costume, and Captain America with his patriotic singers. Among the more obscure costumes were a zombie version of Mr. Rogers, a real life version of Simpson characters Marge and Flanders, and a very large version of the childhood DIY wooden dinosaur toys.
