Zouk flashmob to unite the world

On Sept. 16 more than 3000 people from 37 countries in 95 cities will perform a zouk flashmob. The goal is to introduce the world to Brazilian Zouk dancing and to showcase what can be accomplished through international cooperation.

Participating cities in the US (so far):
    Boston
    Chicago
    Los Angeles
    New York City
    Princeton (NewJersey)
    San Francisco

The dancers want to show the world that when it is possible to dance together we should be able to live together. The International Zouk Flash Mob crosses all borders of culture, social status, race, religion, education, nationality and personality. The dance is the common language bringing people together and creating a positive energy.

It will show the world that co-existence and collaboration is not a distant dream but can be achieved with a common goal through social media. The event is non-commercial, has no sponsors or financing, no links to any commercial organization and all participants are volunteers.

Please vote or share in order to make the world see that dance is not simply a "thing" people do on the dance floor, dance can and will actually make great things come to surface that has been hidden from yourself.
