CNN PRODUCER NOTE     linnypd told me, 'There were over 100 parents, teachers, and students out supporting the strike, even nonunion members who were required to report to school showed their support wearing red shirts. Many people not involved in teaching or the public schools have no idea what is really going on. We are deeply underfunded with working conditions that are horrific in some places.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer
