Immigration Protests Part 6-Woman on Blow Horn
- hhanks, CNN iReport producer
A very loud immigration protest took place in front of the arena in the middle of the street at 5th and College at the Democratic National Convention. This was the first arrests made at the convention.
You might be wondering why the woman is allowed to keep yelling over the blow horn. It's because she was on a public sidewalk while the others were being arrested.
The police did not use lethal force and the protestors were cooperative during the arrests.
The files are so big I am splitting them up into 5 uploads. I tried to do this while in Charlotte, but CNN was having server problems and the WiFi kept going in and out making the upload time out. I tried until 6 in the morning.
These images are just so compelling about the way immigrants feel. Many of them were so young.
