    Prommitr Film Studio

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     On a three month visit to Thailand, MarieSager says she felt fortunate to get to see how movies were made in Asia at Prommitr Film Studio. "The stages and buildings took you back in time," she says. "It lived up to my expectations and more! I didn't want to leave."

    The Prommitr Film Studio, which covers over 700 acres in Kanchanaburi Province in Thailand, was one of my sought out adventures. Being a fan of "The Legend of King Naresuan" series of movies, I had to see where the movies were filmed.

     

    You can walk the grounds or be carted around in an ox cart, which was a fun and unusual experience.  The young man that was driving the oxen, just happened to be an extra in the movie.  He had many first hand stories to share.

     

    This is a relaxed theme park that is growing and anxious to return to see their new additions.
