    911 Illumination Tribute

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter RVCFOTO snapped these photos of the twin beams of light recreating the image of what were once the World Trade Center towers from her Bronx apartment. She took the photos so that people from outside of New York would be able to see and appreciate the images on the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

She said the yearly Tribute in Light 'always brings back all the memories. I don't know once the towers are built if they'll continue it, but it's a nice sight.'
    - Echerneff, CNN iReport producer

The two beams of lights recreating the image of the Twin Towers have been turned on the eve of the 11th anniversary of 9/11. These views were taken from the borough of The Bronx looking down towers Manhattan and the George Washington Bridge.
