    September 11th

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     unBroken1's husband died of cancer on March 1, 2007. His birthday was Sept. 11. The horror of the terrorist attacks, combined with the memory of her husband, make Sept. 11 'this horrible thing. You just want to sleep through it so you don't have to face it.'

    I really dislike this day.

     

    No matter where I go or what I do during the day, I will have that sinking feeling that today my heart will break.

    This day, it's hard not to think of my Jody and wish he was still with us. And that Jade still had her father.

    Even though it's been five years since he passed, in many ways it seems like yesterday.

     

    September 11th  forever will be locked together with unimaginable sadness for me.

     

    No...my husband didn't die on September 11th.
    He was born on September 11th.

     

    Happy Birthday my Jody.
