9/11 WAS A CALLING
Today is a day that resonated deep within some of us. Some didn't hear the calling on this day. Others, like me, had feelings deep inside of us wanting more. Willing to give everything, so our future generations can continue enjoying the freedom that we grew up with. The freedom that our forefathers fought for, the freedom that is so easy to take for granted.
People ask, "Why did you do it? Why would you want to deploy?" They don't realize that it's not about me, it's about the guys next to me, their families. If I could sacrifice my life to know that my brothers-in-arms will get back to their families, that is worth the sacrifice.
To the service members I had the honor to serve with, those who served before me, and those currently serving; I'm honored to be a part of the 1% with you. I would go back in a heartbeat for you all.

P.S. DON'T EVER FORGET
