    Egyptian Paralympic team gets heroes' welcome at Cairo airport

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     arasquare says the Egyptian Paralympic team made him 'so proud' that he wanted to share the story of their welcome home at Cairo International Airport. 'There were hundreds at the airport to welcome the Egyptian Paralympic team. People were already there two hours before the team's arrival. The atmosphere was filled with joy. People were singing and chanting for the paralympic champions, also some held their pictures,' he said.

    Hundreds gathered at Cairo International airport to welcome the Egyptian Paralympic team. People celebrated their arrival with songs and by holding their pictures. They made all Egyptians proud and they achieved what the Olympic team couldn't achieve.The Egyptian Paralympic team made a historic achievement at the London 2012 Paralympic games by winning 15 medals: 4 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze.
