"Obama's Broken His Promises", Claims Paul Ryan- Republicans Also Claim ' There's No Climate Change'
Paul Ryan, GOP VP hopeful, is crisscrossing the country reminding American voters how promises were made and those promises were broken.
"And how it hurts to remember those...broken promises." (unemployment under 8%)
"America, with a heart that recalls... the promise was all that we had"
(Change we can believe in)
Obama's promise was made, his word was enough
We had dreams, visions and plans
Into the night, out of our hands
Letting our passion fulfill our demands
Does it seem like so long ago?
Broken promises"
Sounds like a familiar song Ryan's singing- a GOP song. "We didn't do it!"
And then he adds, "See?" Obama didn't keep his promises."
Do promises happen in a vacuum, Mr. Ryan?
President Obama may now understand what George W. Bush meant when he said , "Getting things done would be easier if he were a dictator".
But Obama's not a dictator. He needs Congress to work with him to create jobs, not 'do nothing'.
Government jobs were cut by Republican State Governors, and the American Jobs Act, that would have cut taxes, given money to states to keep teachers employed and funded infrastructure projects is still in committee' in the U.S. House. Yes, unemployment would only be 7.1% had the House acted- the House of the American people held hostage by the GOP.
To claim Obama hasn't kept promises, when your party acted to prevent those promises from being kept goes beyond the pale. I think it's an outright lie that's being said to deceive American voters.
With business doing as well as they are, the stock market reflecting their health, it's an outrage for America's corporations to betray our president by holding back on creating jobs because they want the guy elected that won't regulate them- Mitt Romney.
Promise kept:
