    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Winthrop University staff member WU200 captured these photographs of the school's Scholars Walk decorated with chalk art in honor of those who lost their lives to 9/11. "I asked around to see who the artists were, but they wanted to remain anonymous," she says. "The art was meant to speak for itself and they didn't want their identity to become the story."

    Winthrop University students were surprised to find Scholars Walk filled with chalk art honoring those who have lost their lives due to 9/11. An anonymous group of students spent three hours drawing the elaborate work.
