    I am so proud of my husband, Master Chief Erik Whipple, for his exemplary service in the United States Coast Guard over the past 25 years. He always answers the call of duty and provides an excellent example of how a Coast guardsmen should be both in and out of uniform. His adherence to the core values of Honor, Respect, and Devotion to Duty is unshakable. His leadership, professionalism, and knowledge is a rare jewel that impresses upon all of his shipmates as a vital resource in carrying out the Coast Guard's mission on a daily basis. My husband's courage is something that I value and cherish every day. His dedication to the USCG and to his family is a rare quality, which I'll be ever grateful for. Bravo Zulu to my husband for his unwavering sense of duty to the greatest country on earth! My eternal love and respect, your USCG veteran wife.
