    Cowgirls put panties on cows (calves actually)

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Kalalau123 shot these photos at a rodeo in Alberta, Canada, on September 8. "These are the real deal. It's how the real cowboys relax and the cowgirls have fun," he says. "It's a great spectator event and they have great prizes such as saddles and cash for the winners. It is a grand event to see."

    This is what the girls do at a private branding in Alberta.


    After the cattle are branded and vaccinated and the wild cows are milked the girls have a competition to put panties on cows. The fastest group of girls wins.


    They all have a number and when the cows are released they go catch them and wrestle them to the ground and on go the panties.


    It is one of the best sports I have ever seen. It is fun and and no one gets hurt and the calves are babied, PETA cannot complain. But really, the baby female cows do need underwear. No girl is allowed in the race without wearing her own underwear the announcer said. This was at a private Alberta rodeo. All this took place after after the boys roped cows and had their fun.


    After the men had their fun they turned the girls loose to make the little female cattle more respectable. And the panties were of all colors. I have about 1000 photos fro this 10 minutes of sheer fun on the eastern range of Alberta. It's how we relax at the end of the day.


    Some of the gals are stunning to watch as you will note. It sure beats walking a beach in Hawaii or Punta Cana.
