Non Compliance of Orders of Human right commission- overcharging in parking stand
To, The Chairman, Pb. Human right Commission, Chandigarh Sub :- Non compliance of orders of Human Right Commission. Dear Sir, Respectfully, we like to draw your kind attention toward our earlier complaint dated 27.02.12 regarding overcharging in parking fees and your decision No. 8003/8/2012 dt 18.06.2012 (copies reproduced below) wherein DC Jalandhar was directed to take action as per law. We are enclosing a scanned copy of Newspaper Punjab Kesari dated 12.09.2012 which is self explanatory that still overcharging in parking fee is being going on and it appears that administration have paid no congizance to ibid directions dated 18.06.12. Further it is to inform you that in Civil hospital Scooter contractor have started charging Rs.10/- against prescribed rate of Rs.2/- for two wheelers and inspite of written complaints no action seems to have been taken. Public is being expoited by the contractors due to non availability of display boards of approved parking rates at the parking slots. Sir, we again request your goodself to intervene in this issue as larger public interest in involved and save the public from exploitation. Further it is prayed that report be called from Adminstration to know the action taken by them particulary after issuance of your ibid directions.
