This iReport is part of an assignment:
Teachers: Why do you teach? |
Man and Woman of PASSION.
Prof. Jose Mario De Vega And I were friends since college. He now teaches in Malaysia and according to him the desire of his students to learn was his inspiration. But the inhumanity of the system frustrates him.
( We don't get the respect that is due to us. We are underpaid and overworked. See, even the teachers in Chicago is on strike! Nevertheless, i love this profession.
Teacher Grace De Leon,on the other hand says her desire to teach is always there and to impart knowledge was her mission. she teaches in Thailand. Just recently, their school celebrated the annual teacher's day.
Teacher Grace said, "I was really touched by my student's gesture - they gave me a bouquet of flower. I really am proud to be a teacher! " ( No matter how unjust the system is to us, the sweetness and gestures of the kids are enough for us to feel good again...)
