    we live just outside st louis mo. 650 miles north of new orleans!!! watched gustav come onshore on cnn and then for the next couple of days watched the radar and moisture stream north across arkansas reaching st louis wed night sept 3rd. on the morning of sept 4 i woke up @ 8am to a loud crack and found a large tree got sheared off in the middle of the trunk barely missing our house but took out my barbecue grill!!!!!!!!!! now we have hurricane ike coming at us the fri noon weather just said it will be here sunday sept 14 with 5-10 inches of rain and high winds! WHAT A YEAR!!!!!!!!
