Miles Phillips, Ohio Backpack Journalist attends his first Political PEP RALLY!

Miles Phillips, military youth from Ohio, headed over to Claremont County Fairgrounds on September 12 to attend his first - Political "pep rally" ie Romney Ryan Victory Rally!
There he met the Governor of Ohio, interviewed a Vietnam Veteran who helped set up the first Vietnamese television station and took copious notes as Paul Ryan took the stage!

Dennis Liesae was sitting next to the Press Stand and spent time sharing his memories of his years of service in Vietnam. The crowd filled with people of all ages, and "decorated dress!". We loved the sweatshirt that was personalize by this one Ryan Fan!

The Governor of Ohio while waiting to introduce Paul Ryan, spent time meeting Miles and his Father, Col (r) Robert Phillips, Ohio National Guard. Music filled the air by John MIchael Montgomery. The crowd estimated in the thousands!

Ryan's wife accompanied him - even Mom Betty!

Stay tuned for a follow-up report by Miles on his reflections as this was his first Political Rally that he has attended. Better said - "pep rally!".
