    Volcan de Fuego Erupts

    Guatemala's Volcan de Fuego erupted on Thursday, spewing ash and smoke to the south and west. Numerous towns and villages were evacuated. The eruption would be seen clearly from one of Guatemala's main travel destinations, Antigua, however the smoke and ash did not fall on the colonial city.
