    Huge Los Angeles Fire

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jonarogers says he was driving home on September 14 on the Los Angeles highway when he noticed a smoke column just ahead. He says from what he heard on local news the wildfire in Los Angeles is 40 percent contained and it not threatening anyone at this time. He says the heat from the day offered prefect conditions for the fire. 'There is always beautiful warm weather in Los Angeles, but while the rest of the country is having a nice cool transition to fall, we are having a blazing hot weekend,' he says.

    In Los Angeles, the only clouds are from fires.
