    Advisories Issued As Typhoon Sanba Approaches

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     okikitty captured a video of deteriorating weather conditions in Ginowan City, Okinawa, Japan, on September 15. She says although the winds and rain are picking up due to Typhoon Sanba, she says she is not too worried because the city is built to withstand typhoons. 'Okinawa has mostly recovered from Typhoon Bolaven with only minor damage such as downed trees,' she said.

    As Okinawa prepares for Typhoon Sanba just weeks after Bolaven blew through JMA issues advisories for the island to ensure residents stay prepared.
