Mr. Obama's Failed Economic Policies
Obama's Failure on Domestic Economic Policy Stems from his Marxist Ideology
Many Americans have held out hope that Mr. Obama's economic policies would turn our economy around. They fail to recall Mr. Obama's campaign promise prior to 2008 in an interview. "We are going to fundamentally change America... There is going to be some pain as we go through that process."
Mr. Obama meant exactly what he said and delivered.
What many Americans fail to see is that Mr. Obama has a vision of equality of outcome for our citizens, rather than an equality of opportunity. As Carl Marx popularized, "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs."
To achieve this goal Mr. Obama needed to enact government programs that confiscated earnings from those that could pay, to redistribute to those that cannot. So rather than concentrate on reducing economic friction and repairing our damaged credit markets, Mr. Obama focused his first 2 years of office on a redistributive, national healthcare plan, bolstering social dependency programs, and increasing all forms of regulations. Indeed, even the Stimulus Plan was nothing more than a $870 Billion dollar Keynesian spending spree designed to redistribute wealth. Mr. Obama's policy initiatives reflect his priorities, of which is the reduction of the middle class to support the lower class.
In a continuing political sleight of hand, Mr. Obama uses familiar political phraseology and slogan to maintain an appearance of being a traditional American politician. However, Mr. Obama, his history, associations, training & rearing, have no roots in American tradition. Mr. Obama has imported through the "Dreams from His Father" a most viral strain of anti-colonial, anti-capitalist political ideals. This virus of American antipathy is spreading across our nation and the world.
Any rational man understands that to grow our economy we need to create certainty by reducing regulation, eliminate the threat of increased taxation, and certainly not introduce the largest most complex government welfare program (the Healthcare Law) during a time of economic crisis.
The path to economic recovery is very clear, but as the last three and a half years have shown, Mr. Obama's objective is not an economic recovery, but the remaking of our economy into a more socialistic state. We are not yet there, but each policy step Mr. Obama has taken has brought us one step closer.
Best of luck to everyone in the next few years. Mr. Obama's socialist economic recovery will not work. If you intend to become more dependent on the government, earn less, have reduced opportunity and live in a state of increased social tension and personal stress, Mr. Obama is your candidate.
