Dana Vollmer received a hero's welcome in her hometown of Granbury, TX with a parade on the square and a special ceremony for her at the town's convention center. "I can't thank Granbury enough," she told the crowd. "I am just speechless on how much this town has given me. Your support means the world to me. It feels so good to be home in Granbury. This town has been my support system and my second family. I know I wouldn't be where I am today without this town."

Vollmer garnered three gold medals in swimming at the London 2012 Olympics, to add to the gold she had already earned in Athens in 2004. In addition Vollmer, who is the youngest swimmer to have competed in Olympic Trials (at age 12), set a world record in the 100-meter butterfly.

Volmer now lives in California with her husband Andy Grant and plans to train for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
