    Mitt may be right...

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     TomAustin told me, 'I am more concerned about President Obama’s statement from 1998 where he stated that he is for income re-distribution. I believe Romney was just telling us that we must make a change. I also believe the President was telling us the truth, in that he does believes taking money from one group and giving to another group is what he wants to do.' Listen to the referenced Obama audio here.

If you own a small business, are you going to go out and start hiring people today? What about after the election?

I do not want to become Greece.

Mitt Romney made quite a statement a couple of months ago concerning people that are in the lower income brackets and are not required to pay taxes. He stated quite ineloquently how those folks that receive government aid will most likely vote for the candidate that will keep such programs in place.

He is probably right. Why would someone that is dependent on other people paying taxes vote for someone that says they want to end the social programs?

I think Mitt should have emphasized that he plans to change the rules in Washington to enable all businesses to thrive. As they thrive, they will hire more and more employees. A rising tide floats all boats.

Think about it. If you are a small business owner, are you going to go and start hiring if Obama continues to be the president? You have a very complicated health care law that requires you to pay the employees health insurance, and if you do not, you will be fined heavily. You have an uncertain economy with the weakening dollar compared to other currencies. We all know what happens with you print money… the buying power of the dollar is weakened, and now a loaf of bread cost $3 where last year is cost $2. It is the same loaf of bread, the only difference is the buying power of the dollar is weaker.

I pay taxes and I do not mind it, but it does bother me when someone says for each working American, there is a non-working American getting the money that I am paying in.

CNN – why do you constantly protect Obama? There is a video of Obama clearly stating that he is for income redistribution and CNN seems to be unwilling to tell any one about that. I thought that the media was supposed to be unbiased.

It seems to me that Mitt Romney is simply telling the truth. We cannot continue to spend money like this if we plan to survive as a country. Just look at Greece.
